The therapeutic relationship between a person and their therapist should support the healing journey each person is on to better their current situation, and that is exactly what I am here to support my clients with. Drawing from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, and person-centered practices, my approach is driven by my client’s needs. I want you to be the heart and driving force of your own treatment plan and goals in therapy. My goal is to help decrease the uncomfortable symptoms that coincide with your own mental health needs (ie. increased stress, pain, worry, sadness, panic, etc.), to support you in living your life to its fullest potential.

I have almost 8 years of experience working in the mental health field. I graduated from my Bachelors of Social Work program in 2017 from Salem State University, and was immediately accepted into the advanced standing program for Masters of Social Work, which I graduated from in 2018. Since then, I have worked in multiple different settings including; child welfare, community mental health, outpatient therapy, emergency psychiatric services, and primary care. My experience also includes working with individuals around trauma, depression, anxiety, life changes, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anger, substance use/recovery, autism, developmental disabilities, etc. I work with most ages including children, adolescents, and adults. I am also trained and experienced in specialized therapy approaches including, cognitive restructuring for PTSD, a short term therapy approach to support you in the process of managing trauma related symptoms.

My hope is that when you come to me, wherever you may be on your own mental health journey, that we can create a positive environment for you to grow through therapy.
