
Kristina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years experience in the Mental Health field. She attended the Advanced Standing Program at Simmons College, and received a Masters in Social Work in 2015.
Kristina has extensive experience working with diverse populations in various settings. She began her clinical career as a School-Based Therapist at an Elementary School. She worked with students on creating a plan to help them thrive social/emotionally, feel supported and gain confidence and coping skills to achieve academic success. She believes that when working with children, including family in the treatment process provides the best potential outcomes. She has extensive experience working with teens and young parents who have experienced trauma, loss, homelessness and other difficult life events. She also has experience working in partial hospitalization programs with adolescents and adults and providing in-home therapy and group therapy.
Kristina uses a strengths-based approach and places importance on meeting her clients’ where they’re at. She is committed to building a treatment plan for future emotional growth and empowering her clients. She incorporates different treatment modalities into her work to accommodate the needs of each individual client. She provides a non-judgmental environment and believes that healing is a process and everyone’s journey is unique.
