Kerry Hill, LCSW (she/her)
Kerry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), having received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Salem State University in 2017. She has been working in the field of social work since 2003, initially doing volunteer work with adults living with mental health and substance abuse challenges. Kerry has worked in several settings including a therapeutic after school program, a mentoring agency for at-risk youth, and working with families in the child welfare system that were seeking support.
First and foremost, Kerry works to build a trusting relationship with her clients. She focuses on creating a supportive and calming environment. Her therapeutic approaches involve CBT, Mindfulness, Solution-focused, and elements of Play Therapy.
It is important to meet clients where they are at and support them in reaching their goals. Kerry recognizes that beginning therapy can be daunting, and it can take time to get to a place of feeling comfortable. Kerry will support you in this process and help you take one step at a time.
