
Peggy has over 2 decades of experience. She graduated in 1991 with a bachelors degree in nursing from University of Lowell and a masters degree in social work in 2001 from Boston University. She has certifications in Substance Abuse Counseling and Trauma. She has worked extensively with SUD. She has worked in hospitals, prison, jail, detox and with individuals with major mental illness including schizophrenia. She treats individuals age 14 and up and couples with anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger issues, autism, behavior issues, personality disorders, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, OCD, oppositional defiance, PTSD, relationship issues, self harming, sexual abuse, substance abuse and suicidality. She is trained in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Relational, Strength based and Trauma focused therapy.
Peggy sees clients in the Newburyport office and via Telehealth.
